Few airplanes in the history of military aviation can touch the P-47 Thunderbolt for toughness and tenacity. The World War II pilots who flew it into combat called it "The Unbreakable." And how right they were. Less than 1% of them were lost to the enemy during combat missions.

Originally conceived as a lightweight interceptor, the P-47 developed as a heavyweight fighter and made its first flight in May of 1941. Its first combat mission was a sweep over Western Europe that branded it as both a high-altitude escort fighter and a low-level fighter-bomber.

With its realistic scale appearance, including a "bubble" canopy and famous "No Guts–No Glory!" trim scheme, the Hangar 9 P-47 Thunderbolt 50 ARF lets you scream into combat just like the American heroes who protected democracy during WWII.

The preinstalled landing gear, hardened metal struts and adjustable down locks prevent wobble and allow for easy ground control.

The factory-painted checkerboard cowl, bubble canopy and nostalgic "No Guts–No Glory!" trim scheme will have you believing you're protecting the English Channel in 1942.
