The F.P.E. engine line consists of five of the most beautiful, light weight and powerful gasoline powerplants that the industry has ever seen. These engines are designed specifically for large R/C aircraft and offer huge power to weight ratios.

Available in 1.3, 2.4, 3.4, 4.2, and 5.8 cubic inch displacements, each F.P.E. engine comes with its own ultra light weight TIG welded custom aluminum muffler, which is smoke system capable out of the box. All five F.P.E. engines come with high quality electronic ignitions, complete instructions and a full one year warranty. These engines burn common gasoline, mixed with oil at a 50:1 ratio.

Of special interest, is the 2.4 c.i. F.P.E engine. This small gasoline engine weighs only 48 ounces, including the muffler and electronic ignition! The 2.4 was designed especially for the new large scale 1.20-1.50 ARF models, such as the great SIG CAP 231 EX and the new SIG EXTRA 300XS, as well as similar sized models from other manufacturers. This engine, using a 20 x 10 propeller, provides a staggering 18 pounds of thrust at just 6800 rpm! This means that airplanes in the 10 - 13 pound range will no longer be vertically challenged.
