Employing the PowerSafe battery system, the R1222 incorporates redundant, dual-battery leads for use with battery systems up to 10 volts. In addition, technology like DualLink frequencies (two redundant frequencies) and MultiLink receivers (up to four receivers can be employed in different parts of the aircraft to eliminate path diversity and blocking issues) assure the user with comprehensive safety network on a variety of levels - all in one, neat small package.
The R1222 also employs the QuickConnect instant voltage recovery system. In the unlikely event your voltage should ever drop below 3.5 volts, control is restored as soon as voltage returns.

Employing Spektrum's patent-pending MultiLink DSM2 technology, the R1221 uses one internal and three external receivers for path diversity - assuring your receiver always "sees" a strong signal and is unaffected by multi-path issues. What's more, DSM2 air receivers employ DuaLink two-frequency technology, ensuring your aircraft always operates with an ultra-secure, robust Rf link.
Dual battery ports are provided with the R1221 for power redundancy. The receiver will handle well over 35 amps of continous current, the limiting factor being the connectors. In the unlikely event your voltage should ever drop below 3.5 volts, control is established the instant voltage returns due to the QuickConnect instant voltage recovery system.

The R922 PowerSafe ™ receiver is designed for models using multiple servos that draw excess current or multiple high-torque servos, such as giant-scale airplanes and jet models. It features a robust power bus designed to manage high-current loads, as well as dual 16AWG battery input leads with EC3 connectors for use with larger battery packs. This makes it possible to support high-current systems straight through the R922 without the need for a separate power system. As an added measure of safety, the R922 is designed with a soft switch. Servo current is routed around the switch so, should it fail for any reason, power to the system will not be interrupted.
This unique MultiLInk ™ receiver design contains a main unit which houses the power bus, and it includes 3 remote receivers which come with one of each: 9”, 12” and 24” remote receiver extensions. The dual path redundancy of Spektrum’s DuaLink™ technology, plus the fact each of the receivers is mounted in a slightly different location, exposes each to a different view of the RF environment and creates a bulletproof RF link in all conditions. Also, in the highly unlikely event both your batteries should ever drop below 3.5 volts, new Fast Reconnect circuitry in the R922 provides for control recovery the moment adequate voltage is restored. There is absolutely no delay. You can add an optional fourth remote receiver to further enhance the receiving capabilities of the system for more complex aircraft.
In addition to Spektrum’s exclusive SmartSafe™ technology, the R922 gives you the option of using standard user preset failsafe settings.

The remote receiver can be used as a replacement for the R921, R922, R1221 and R1222 receivers. It can also be used as an optional fourth remote receiver for the R922.
The remote receiver includes one 24" extension, however, various lengths of receiver extensions can be purchased allowing various placement options for mounting purposes. Additional remote receiver extensions are available in 6", 9", 12", 24" and 36" lengths.
