The YS 170-DZ takes up where the 160 left off. Developed for serious aerobatics competition and large IMAC style aircraft, it differs from other YS Engines in that it doesn't use a pressured fuel system but a true fuel pump. And then there is the power. The YS 170-DZ offers maximum power.

Even if you have no interest in competition, the YS 170-DZ delivers more thrill per ounce than any engine in its class - two or four stroke.

The YS 170DZ can power model aircraft up to 18 lbs. with outstanding flight performance. Prop size ranges from 15.5x12 4 blade up to 18x10 wide, and the ideal RPM range is 8000 to 8500 for best flight performance. Recommended fuel is 30%.

Y.S. 140 SPORT

The YS 1.40 Sport replaces the YS 1.20 FZ which was discontinued in early 2002. It is an exceptionally easy engine to operate with smooth running characteristics and the ability to run well on fuel in a variety of nitro percentages. It is the same physical size as the 1.20 it replaces.
