The FL-2 fuel level instrument features dual 90° analog displays & a digital display. Analog displays provide primary indication of fuel level for left and right tanks & digital display monitors fuel level in 1 gallon increments for left tank, right tank and total fuel in both tanks. Digital display may be programmed for gallons, British gallons, pounds or liters.
After installation unit is calibrated to the aircraft tanks & sensors. This procedure removes non-linearity in indication due to tank shape and sensors.
The following warning indications are provided: 1/4 tank difference alert (Time to change tanks), 1/4 tank remaining warning (right or left tank reaches 1/4 tank), and low fuel warning (right or left tank reaches 1/8 tank or 2 gallons (whichever is greater).
2 1/4" mount, 3.65" depth. Viewable in direct sunlight, Backlit. Operates from 7.5-35Vdc.
The FL-2C was designed to be used with EI's capacitive fuel level sensors (P-300C).
The FL-2R was designed to be used with Stewart Warners resistive fuel level sensors (F-385-CP05) Resistance decreases as fuel is added.
The FL-2RH was designed to be used with fuel level sensors that increase in resistance as fuel is added to the tank.
Specify aircraft engine voltage when ordering.
