The SL30 NAV/COM combines a powerful 760 Channel VHF COM radio with a 200 Channel VOR, GS/LOC receiver. More than just another traditional NAV/COM, the Garmin Apollo SL30 incorporates features to reduce pilot workload including automatic decoding of the morse code identifier for the VOR or LOC/ILS station, user memory for storage of the NAV and COM frequencies you use most often, and a display of Identifier, Radial and TO/FROM for the station selected. A built-in CDI may also be displayed.
The SL30 interfaces with most common mechanical CDI's and HSI's.
