The System 30 ALT is an altitude hold (only) autopilot, which can be installed to complement any brand of existing roll-axis autopilot system. Since it installs and operates separately, no complex interfacing is required.
It can also be installed as a single axis, Altitude Hold only autopilot, without the presence of a roll-axis system.
It is designed to provide an economical solution for aircraft owners who need altitude hold, but don't want the additional functions of pitch command, vertical speed control or GS coupling.
Solid State absolute pressure transducer provides full-time, instantaneous altitude data, not dependent on vacuum system or altimeter.
