The ADC Chip Detector attracts and detects metal particles in the oil flow and warns the pilot via a panel-mounted light. It can be mounted in the engine oil sump, gearbox, or in the ADC filter system. Self-sealing valve allows for inspection of the magnet without the need to first drain the oil. Quick-drain adapter allows for draining engine oil without removing entire unit from oil sump. Kit comes with all necessary hardware, including a quick-drain adapter and MS press-to-test light. STC/PMA for all Continental engines.
