Model 70900 Series LED Beacons (for fixed wing aircraft)
The Model 70900 Series are FAA TSO'd self-contained anti-collision lights for fixed wing aircraft. An external power unit is not required. The durability of LED's as a light source will result in a high quality, long lasting, modern alternative to existing anti-collision lighting. The solid-state LED light source has shown conservative lab life results greater than 20,000 hours. There is no EMI or RFI produced. The lens design is one piece construction that is much less susceptible to environmental or chemical breakdown. Low current draw means no inrush current that is inherent with strobes and halogen flashers. All units meet the minimum requirements stated in FAR Parts 23 & 25 for anti-collision light systems used on fixed wing aircraft. Ref; Class III (100 effective candela) of SAE AS8017a minimum performance standards (Specify voltage when ordering).

A totally new Self-Contained, Flashing Anti-Collision light assembly that is FAA TSO-C96a approved. It features a rugged Lexan polycarbonate lens with internal optics, replaceable halogen lamp and flasher assembly.
The Model 70509 can be installed as a replacement on Cessna Aircraft (1967-1979), on most general aviation aircraft, homebuilts, and ultralights. The unit is completely self-contained, no separate flasher power pack required! NOTE: Not recommended for use on helicopters.

The A470 Strobe can be installed on the vertical fin or fuselage. It incorporates a vibration-proof flash tube which allows flush mounting. Available with Aviation Red, Aviation White or Split Aviation Red/White optic lens. When ordering with Aviation Red or split Aviation Red/White lens, the A490A, TS, CF Strobe power supply is required. When ordering with Aviation White lens, the A490, T, CF-14/28 volt may be used. When installing system use special 3 conductor shielded cable between light assembly and power supply. HD10 (10 ft. cable).
