Needed when flying aircraft without permanent push-to-talk switch. Idea accessory when renting different planes.
To use an aviation headset with boom mounted microphone, you must have a Push-To-Talk switch.
Simple installation. Wrap the velcro strap on the switch assembly around the control wheel (yoke). Connect the plug to the microphone jack in the aircraft, and connect the headset microphone plug into the jack on the switch cord assembly. Highest quality double pole switch provides positive keying with no "dead" spots.
