Unit Includes Installation Harness
Castleberry Instruments & Avionics introduces a new FAAA certified back-up attitude indicator, Model number 300-14EL with Inclinometer. This instrument is an approved substitute of standard rate of turn gyros in part 23 Aircraft operating in part 91 and less than 12,500 pounds.
This unit may be installed in the same panel location as the turn and bank, freeing up crowded panel space. It has an inclinometer for use in standard rate turns and a failure warning flag to indicate loss of gyro RPM's.
It features an electric gyro with electronics designed to extend rotor life and monitoring circuitry for gyro validity…exceptional features for such a low price. It is available for 14 or 28 VDC aircraft and its small size allows installation in the same space as the air driven models. Recent product improvements to ruggedize the erection system allow this unit to now meet the vibration requirements for helicopter use.

RC Allen Electric Horizon Gyro 26AK/BK Models
This RC Allen Horizon Gyro employs an electrically-driven rotor to sense movement in the roll and pitch axes, and transmits the information to the pilot through a "pictorial" presentation. The airplane symbol is adjustable by a knob at the 6 o'clock position. A "pull to cage" knob is provided to assure immediate alignment & stability whenever power has been applied to gyro.
All models have an AC (brushless) motor with a built-in inverter which converts the aircraft DC power to the required voltage and frequency for motor operation. A power failure flag drops when voltage is lost or has dropped below a level for proper operation. Connector mates with MS3116E8-4S or equivalent. RC Allen gyro horizons can be calibrated at all standard panel tilts. Specify at time of order. Artificial horizon gyro comes standard with color scheme of blue sky reference and brown ground reference.

Sigma Tek Vacuum Horizon Gyro
The Sigma Tek air-operated artificial horizon gyro is selected as standard equipment by aircraft manufacturers worldwide. The artificial horizon displays aircraft attitude through 360 degrees in pitch. Its pictorial presentation gives faster interpretation of airplane attitude with blue for sky and brown for ground. Pictorial airplane remains fixed during gyro operation, adjustable to compensate for changing conditions.
