The Ultimate Bar Graph Engine Analyzer (UBG-16) is the most sophisticated instrument in the EI line. Its unique features are designed to provide you with the ultimate tool for detecting engine problems in their earliest stages and in assisting operation of your engine safely and economically.

32 Pilot Programmable Limits allow for a High and Low alarm for each of its 16 channels. Set a high and low alarm for each cylinder tailored to its normal operating range.

Normalized Mode with Long Term Memory allows you to spot trends for powerful diagnosis of engine operation.

Lean Mode with True Peak Detect

Another powerful feature is the ability to display the temperature below peak EGT (example "PEAK" -25)

MUX-8A Data Recorder

The Electronics International Black box Data Recorder (MUX-8A) is one of the most sophisticated data recorders available for general aviation aircraft.

The MUX-8A has three Storage Time Interval settings (1, 3 and 6 minutes). Also, it can be put into the "BURST" mode at any time to record data every 5 seconds. This feature is exceptionally useful when you suspect an engine problem. When the MUX-8A is connected to the UBG-16 it will record up to 690 hours of data at a six-minute rate, 345 hours at a three-minute rate or 115 hours at a one-minute rate. Also, the MUX-8A has an Event Warning Line that can be used to record data the moment your engine exceeds a high or low limit.
