New from Advanced Flight Systems, the AF-3400 can be configured as an EFIS, Engine Monitor, or Combination of both. Both the AF-3400 and AF-3500 systems utilize Advanced Avionics Bus allowing the pilot and copilot displays to exchange screens. The AF-3400 features a 6.5" sunlight readable color LCD display that is 50% brighter than any competitor. The AF-3500 features a 8.4" sunlight readable color LCD display that is 50% brighter than any competitor.

• EFIS - Unlike other systems the horizon display is generated from an internal AHRS that is based on certified boards and software. The display features a clear and easy to read airspeed indication with user adjustable color ranges, the altimeter is set using a familiar and convenient adjustment knob (other systems require numerous buttons presses), and the heading display is generated from a remote mounted magnetometer. The heading can be displayed on a tape across the top or with the new EFIS DG. Other flight instruments functions include a slip ball and user-configurable g-meter.
• Aircraft Monitoring and Data Acquisition System - Developed from the successful AF-2500 monitor, the system continuously monitors and displays not only all aircraft engine data but several other aircraft functions as well. Unlike other system, the display can be customized to the user's preference. Any of the standard instruments can be eliminated or added to the screen.
• AOA - Fly safe with AOA. The patented AOA module can be purchased to drive the display on the AF-3400/3500 screen.

Advanced Flight Systems AOA instruments help do all these things and more. The AOA Professional and Sport are lightweight and easy to install. There are no ugly probes to slow you down or collect ice and no moving parts to break. These true full range AOA's with verbal warnings are affordable too.

Today's popular sport aircraft fly faster, higher, further and with larger payloads. As a result, the stall speed, the approach speed and other performance speeds can no longer be assumed to be constant. They actually never were. AOA provides pilots with a full range angle of attack indication on a color display and warns of high angles of attack visually and with a verbal message "Angle Angle Push".

Optimum approach to landing speeds vary with weight, bank angle, CG and even relative humidity. With the AOA instrument, we can now do precision approaches just like the military, Navy aircraft carrier, and airline pilots eliminating the requirement to compute performance speeds. AOA tells you where the airspeed is going to be unlike the airspeed indicator that tells you where it was. Your aircraft stalls at the same AOA regardless of weight, temperature, altitude or center of gravity and bank angle. Your stall indicated airspeed varies significantly with all the above. For any given airfoil, other performance parameters such as best lift to drag, best glide, maximum endurance and maximum maneuvering performance also occur at known AOAs.

Designed for those tight panels, requiring simplified features but still uses revolutionary patent pending sensing techniques. This angle of attack instrument is only 1/2" wide by 1 3/4" by 1 1/4" deep overall and will fit on or under your glare shield or between instruments as a panel mount in either the vertical or horizontal position. Enhance safety by installing the ultimate aerodynamic performance instrument. The display is a three color LED ladder and includes the same aural voice warnings as the AOA Professional. It can be powered with a 9V battery or by standard 14 or 28 aircraft bus systems. There are no ugly probes, vanes or protrusions to slow you down. This instrument has more resolution than the Navy's indexer used by Naval and Marine aviators today.

AOA PRO

The AOA Professional features a small liquid crystal four color AOA indicator. Both include Aural Warning systems that will help you fly more precisely and safely. Both feature digital processing at a cost that is comparable to less than the simple stall switch tab seen on many production aircraft.

The AOA Professional includes a gear position warning system, which says "Landing Gear" when the gear is not down for landing.
